2:12 To all you people hearing it wrong, he said “Kid, we’ve got to get to
a tree, this calls for some big scratchin’.” and NOT “sh**” or “d***” or
anything else you think you heard. -_- Sheesh…
My bio notes mentioned a prickly pear so I’m here.
Oh yeah, and his whole back scratch thing? That’s my dad. He will go to a
protruding wall corner and move his back from side to side to get the area
between his shoulder blades. It’s so weird.
I love this clip of the 1967 animated Disney classic The Jungle Book where
Baloo the Bear teaches Mowgli The Bare Necessities. It’ll be cool this song
will be reused in the Live action/CGI animated remake of The Jungle Book
which will come out in April 2016 and the song The Bare Necessities will be
sung by Bill Murray.
I always thought it was clever because it was called the bear necessities
because, well y’know, he’s a bear but no it really is just bare
necessities. oh okay, that’s cool.
I have The Jungle Book (1967) which is was the one I complete Peter Pan:
Platinum Edition, Dinosaurs: Seasons 3 and 4, The Many Adventures of Winnie
the Pooh: The Friendship Edition, Bridge to Teribithia, High School
Musical: The Concert, The Muppet Show: Season 2, Super Buddies, Sofia the
First: Ready to a Princess, The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition, Phineas
and Ferb: Mission Marvel, Monsters University, Planes, Mary Poppins: 50th
Anniversary Edition, Dinosaur, Shrek, Ice Age, Chicken Little, The
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Cars, Open
Season, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Rio and Alvin and the
Chipmunks: Chipwrecked with.
We use The Jungle Book in:
The Meerkat’s New Groove
Frog-A-Doodle
Fievel the Red-Nosed Mouse
Kermiladdin
Taran Claus is Comin’ to Town
Jumanji (Animal style)
The Aristomice
Jasmilina
The Mouse King
The Little Jungle Boy
Fievel Hood
Brisbyhontas
The Year Without a Santa Claus (Pet style)
The Polar Express (with Elephants)
This kinda makes me think of Life of Pie. Was this kid really hanging out
with talking animals or are they based on humans he actually met in the
jungle.
Interesting all the ways in this song they showed that, although Baloo
cares a lot, he’s very irresponsible (also shown in his rescue of Mowgli
from the monkeys where his carelessness screws up the plan several times
and gets Bagheera injured several times), making it all the more effective
when despite this, he loves Mowgli enough to take on a Tiger (a Tiger
who could neutralize Kaa, who’d been shown to be able to pwn Bagheera who
was himself at least as powerful as Baloo) to keep Mowgli alive.
If baloo was a person he’d 100% be a lazy stoner
The original Hakuna Matata

This movie is not true.
pause the video, now press 5 on your keyboard… cannot be unseen
the smoothest fucking bear in history goddamn

We’re reading the original book in my English class
So similar to Hakuna Matata. Even the insect eating part is similar.

Does baloo have the same voice actor as thomas from the aristocats?
Old Disney rules…. *-* *BARE NECESSITIES!!!!!*

In the beginning the bear said “Ill show you like this itches but with a b.
I recently finished the book… lemme tell ya something…. miles
different…
All these pedophile comments are ruining my child hood… stfu!!
This song + Disney is the best vitamin to start the day. I go back to it
frequently…and it peps me up indeed.
the part where he doesnt get hit by the boulder, THATS writing
When Baloo cums
I thought the part where he’s scratching his back on stuff was the funniest
thing in the world as a kid
Who else thinks of this when they hear the word necessity
love the song but man this audio is off
2:12, I’m sure Baloo says “Kid, we’ve gotta get to a tree”.
But it’s funny because I hear “Sh*t, we’ve gotta get to a tree.”
phenomenal.
would like to dance too.
