Hear from young nano-scientists who are doing research on developing new energy sources and materials that will help answer the question — “what will power our civilization as oil supplies dwindle?” Series: “Science at the Theater” [2/2012] [Science] [Show ID: 21567]
@dumbnetworks I might push the envelope, but my youtube comments are
nothing compared to the potential dangers of nanotechnology in the hands of
the military industrial complex. Nano tech may have some good potential
applications, but until we sort our priorities out when it comes to these
civil liberties & the downfall of capitalism the technology will fall into
the wrong hands. Potentially we could be regressed, as a race, beyond
infancy, to the 1 celled organisms we supposedly started as!
@dumbnetworks Tapping the earth’s natural ELFs was supposedly achievable
using Nikola Tesla’s Wardencliffe Tower design, rain/orgone energy &
weather modification was Wilhelm Reich’s passion, I can’t remember who
re-discovered Zero-Point Energy first (possibly the Thule Society or Vril
Gesellschaft who produced scientists like Viktor Schauberger & Winfried
Otto Schumann. Cold fusion also produces Z-PE), Viktor Schauberger came up
with the donut shaped vortex energy anti-gravity field generator.
Thank you so much. I had always wished I could be sitting there in one of
her live audiences. It’s a gift to be able to watch these films.
@dumbnetworks I have a badge that says: “One day we’ll have the technology
to go fuck up other planets.” I’d like us to sort out our own issues so we
might potentially be of assistance to civilizations on Mars or wherever we
may end up as opposed to being a burden & everything we fear in alien
civilizations.
Excellent video. Thank you.
@seanwalsh1111 Ok but what do you propose? there were allways scientists
that pushed the envelope, and did a lot of damage and there were a lot that
made our life better. To get to a higher type of civilization we have to
face the possibility of mass extinction. Lets face it science wont stop,
human curiosity wont stop, no matter how much anger or objection is from
our part. I just hope that at least we will manage to colonize Mars before
something bad happends to Earth.
@seanwalsh1111 well there are things that one can do remind others of the
dangers of our society. I stopped being scared of everything, It’s not
connstructive. But you might be right in the end, who knows?.. there are
many dangers facing us, one might just hope that these dont bring us to our
extinction.
@dumbnetworks You’re right about nano tech being in it’s infancy, but this
is one of the reasons I am concerned. We are the guinea pigs for enough
other synthetic materials that cause enough suffering already. Nano tech is
being used in products like anti aging creams that are used by people who
have no idea of what the potential risks they are taking are. Nobody wants
to stop and ask if we really should treat nano technology just like a new
toy? It’s like giving a loaded gun to a 3 year old…
Nano tech must be completely obsolete to the powers that be, or we would
not be hearing anything about it.
@dumbnetworks It’s great to stay positive, but it is also good to prepare
ourselves (at least mentally) for worst case scenarios. I’m not saying be
scared of everything, but some fear induced reactions e.g. caution, risk
assessment, preparedness, investigation, even anger & civilized
confrontation can be rather positive. I hope I am just being paranoid, but
I won’t regret my actions or logic when people like myself prevent some of
these ominous possible futures from manifesting in this reality.
Grey goo summary: ‘We can’t do it, it’s going to be a looong time before we
could do anything like it.’
@sharpezor, ok everything I’ve ever seen on nano tech is so awesome that,
IMHO , the elite would surly keep it to themselves ,until such time as it
would be irrelevant to them if we knew about it or not. So it’s my thought,
that there are even more advanced tech that likely developed that put nano
to shame. That’s all, and it’s just a feeling of mine.
@seanwalsh1111 “I suspect most of our solutions are being kept for & by the
elite” I agree, that is why I am against any form of copyright although I
am work in a field that brings me income from it. I think all form of
copyright, patents will be obsolete by the power of internet, or at least I
hope so. all music, movies, books, down to inventions are human kind’s
assets and not one corporation’s. SOPA was the start of the war in that
direction. We live an important moment in history, I think.
@seanwalsh1111 do the research I am sure you will get funds if it works on
paper
@dumbnetworks I’ve always liked that line from the Termnator movies: “The
future is not set. There is no fate but what we decide for ourselves”. It’s
all too easy to imagine an ominous future, it’s not so easy to come up with
solutions to avoid these kinds of possibilities. Personally, I suspect most
of our solutions are being kept for & by the elite & the military
industrial complex. Aside from that there is a lot to be learned from
history & our ancestors who have at least gotten us this far.
@fullmetal515 explain.
@seanwalsh1111 this is what I am saying, we have no chance to “sort out our
own issues” we probably WILL fuck up our planet. This is what I think. No
matter how much lament is going on on websites like youtube. Our survival
depends a lot on pure luck
Eh, scuse me, was commenting on the wrong program.
@seanwalsh1111 that world is long gone. If you have that technology you can
upload it on internet now and make it free for everyone. Internet community
has more and more power every day. Look how SOPA falled.
@seanwalsh1111 I read about all these things. the problem is that none of
them is appliable. there is no working solution. So instead of talking
about it, try to harness that energy, at least on paper, lets see if you
can manage it. Maybe you will get a nobel. Good luck!
GREAT
@seanwalsh1111 you go too far, nano tech is in it’s infancy. The obvious
problems of our time are civil liberties and the downfall of capitalism.
@dumbnetworks Thanks for the encouragement, unfortunately if you or I did
invent technology of this nature that worked we would either be forced to
work for the military industrial complex with extreme secrecy & security
etc. or we’d have our life’s work stolen from us before they give us a
lobotomy & lock us up in mental prisons for life. As if the oil cartels
would give up that easily… There is no working solution in fossil fuels,
nuclear or nano technology, just more problems…
@robelicit tx mate
@dumbnetworks The oil cartel world or the military industrial complex
world? Where did it go? I agree they can’t rely upon fear based mind
control to suppress the truth from everyone forever, but they can lull us
into a false sense of security about the nano tech they promote as if we
learned nothing from past nuclear disasters. Nano science has too many
potential military applications. Who seriously believes they can improve
upon our creator’s design using robots that can re-arrange our dna?
I’ll admit it’s great that this is possible & that we understand how to
make this technology work, but there are many other solutions to the energy
“crisis” that don’t involve nanotechnology. Each planet has a resonant
frequency which can be tapped, with each rain drop that hits the earth an
electronic charge is exchanged, vacuums produce zero point energy & matter,
vortex energy can be achieved by placing iron filings in mercury then
placing this mix into a electrified donut shaped container…
