GOAL SETTING!
What is goal setting?
How is goal setting done?
What are SMART goals?
A goal is a personal wish for yourself that is reasonable and measurable. When you are setting a goal you have to be realistic. For example if you have a fitness goal that you want to bench press 150 pounds and you only weigh 120, that is probably not going to happen. Second you need to set a time frame for your goal that is also reasonable. Give yourself enough time to work on the goal (think about your personal schedule). It will also depend on what your goal is.
A smart goal just means that it is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. (get it, s.m.a.r.t)
i hope this helped you !
My teacher wants us to write an essay about something we want to achieve this year, but I can't seem to get started without using "I"
You need to think a little outside the box. I never minded formal writing, but it's difficult to write about a personal experience when you can't use I, me, my, we, our, etc. Here's a little example:
It is a simple fact of life–not all students are the same. Some want to become astronauts, others want to get involved with politics, and others just want to graduate high school. Students go through life setting a variety of goals for themselves, with many of their reach. But, this goal is different. It is unique. It is personal. It is a goal that can be easily achieved through sweat and perseverance. This goal is about making the school softball team.
