Behind the scenes video: Over 6,000 PCR-tubes and 30 plates were used to make a stop-motion animation about a better way of doing gradient PCR.
This is a stop motion video to show the Making Of this stop motion video! It shows the whole process from the initial ideas and storyboard, the capping of over 6000 PCR tubes, and the frame by frame process that took 31 days to create. The Veriti ® thermal cycler was created in After Effects and re-drawn in pencil, and then placed in the stop motion scene. The video also shows the camera equipment used by Gangibob to create this ‘Making of’ video – which also is in stop motion.

This video explores a day with gradients, and how the Veriti® thermal cycler allows you to do PCR better than gradient.
