For more than two decades a stretch of highway near Weinsberg in southern Germany has been slated for an overhaul – but it’s been a wait in vain. Now a private initiative plans to raise the €700 m euros needed to update the 60-kilometer stretch of road, which is notorious for its traffic jams.
