A group of computer scientists from the United States have developed a robot that is capable of planting seeds and taking care of them until they bear fruit.
Farmbot can place the seed in its place thanks to a grid system, in which the user can choose the combination that suits its needs the best. It is also equipped with smart cameras that measure when and how much water each plant requires, depending on its growth stage. It even has a system for removing weeds.
