The incredible color changes of an octopus to camouflage itself

In nature, animals have developed different techniques to escape predators: playing dead, running away or remaining motionless to blend in with the environment.

Octopuses are mimetic animals, which means that they are capable of changing color and texture until they become practically invisible to the eye. They do this thanks to the contraction of some muscles around different sacs with different tones and textures, which, when opened or closed, change their appearance.
