  1. I think it’s funny how she addresses acim as if it’s just this simple
teaching and now we have “moved beyond” it. You mean, into further ego
illusions? The entire new age is an ego fest. Oneness can’t evolve because
it IS. the ego creates complex explanations to maintain the illusion

  2. *Forgiveness*
Forgiveness is one of the things that is promised to believers in the
gospel message of Jesus Christ. It is also one aspect of something called
“justification”. Jesus promises us that if we come to Him in faith and
repent of our sins, then we will be forgiven for our own sins. In Acts 3:18,
the Apostle Peter calls forgiveness the blotting out of our sins – it means
that once we have genuinely repented and put our trust in Jesus, our sins
will no longer be held against us.
There is another aspect to forgiveness, though – it is not just something
we receive. It’s something that we are obliged to extend to other people
who have hurt us. We are commanded to forgive others as we have been
    forgiven by God.

  3. I’ve studied ACIM since the 80’s. It is one way. Abraham is one way. There
are many ways. All ways are valid. All ways are valuable. ACIM teaches us
not to defend against anything and yet here on these boards we see students
of ACIM defending to the death ACIM. Have they not learned anything? It
doesn’t matter if people study ACIM or listen to Abraham or choose another
way, once again, all ways lead to the same place.

It isn’t complicated. One merely needs to remain present in the now,
focused on and aligned with reality and/or truth and as we all walk through
the physical world which is like a fun house with warp mirrors distorting
reality, we pass through unafraid, unaffected and completely aware.

The fact that people are here defending either ACIM or Abraham demonstrates
they’re caught up in their ego and illusions. I think ACIM is fabulous. I
think Abraham is fabulous. I adore and appreciate both equally.

  4. On the surface it can seem like Abraham teaches the opposite of ACIM, but
after reflecting on the underlying concepts and meanings I’m finding them
to be the same message. Abraham says to get in the Vortex and *than*, which
naturally leads to extension not projection because in the Vortex you know
you already have everything and wish to create and share your joy. ACIM
does not discourage material things, but teaches a state in which they are
not used to fill a perceived lack. Personally ACIM is helping me more than
Abraham at this time, but only because of the form, as the source and
message of the teachings seems to be the same.

  5. After mentally, emotionally and spiritually surviving Cancer, wife and
    stepson’s suicide, 2nd wife’s infidelity, getting busted… here’s how I
    see it.
Those who feel life in bodies is something that we shouldn’t be doing and
that we need to get back to what we are supposed to be doing tend to go for
    ACIM.
The followers of Abraham-Hicks feel that life in bodies is a gift,
regardless of which “season” we choose to live, and embrace that contrast
we all experience as opportunity for expansion…of Consciousness.
Ecclesiastes 3 is the Bible’s version of the duality concept that Abraham
terms “contrast”. “As ye sow so shall ye reap” is LOA.
For me ACIM was not enjoyable. It did not illicit many squeals of Joy from
me, and NEVER for no apparent reason like I do now. I realized one day that
is the true measure of your spiritual/physical well being, finding yourself
welling with happiness yet experiencing no outside stimulus.
Not many understand the teachings of Abraham after viewing only one or a
few videos, so this comment section is a real blessing for educating each
other and expanding awareness. I suggest we use whatever feels good to us
from whatever teachings we wish. Setting The Course up as the only path off
the Earth plane is exactly what the author did not want, but if that’s what
some want to do, I just hope they find more than Inner Peace, but absolute
    Joy in doing it.

  6. As I listened to this I see where she is coming from. Basically ACIM is
about removing the blocks to evolution, same as Abraham. Abraham is now
elaborating on different aspects of this process. So the only difference
is that Abraham is still “transmitting” with answers to questions and
elaborations on certain aspects of the evolutionary process.

  7. The Course is never “vs” anything. Hicks materials can pump up an ego into
believing it has powers of all kinds to make us happier, wealthy, whatever.
But ACIM does not even go there, because ego IS separation FROM God (which
is not truly possible). So, like the arduous young man in this recording,
take a deep breath and take time to read and study ACIM. It does take time,
too. No quick fixes like thinkin’, wishin’, hopin’, dreamin’, believin’ . .
. . and presto! No way will locate Peace Of Mind.

  8. ACIM and Abraham point to the same thing which is removing the blocks to
love. Abraham says to choose a better feeling thought, and if you can’t
find that thought to produce the feeling, then there is a block to love.
The course teaches forgiveness to remove the blocks to love. So, as you
examine your thoughts and feelings, that looking within will reveal the
blocks. I see both teaches as coming to the same conclusions from
seemingly different angles. Yes, there are those who see the Abraham
teachings as a means to and end of cars and houses, etc., however, ACIM has
the same pitfalls whereby many study the course in order to feel safe in
this world. Both of these intentions are superficial, but they can also
lead to a deepening of the messages. Sometimes, what seems egoist or
superficial or material is the path to the depths when one can see that the
superficial is just that, superficial, and that true peace, love, joy and
abundance is so much more than scratching the surface of things.

I have found, after studying both teachings, that I no longer force
specifics into my prayer and asking. I now understand that I do not know
all the implications of this life, and it serves me best to get out of my
own way. I now see all the disasters of my life as blessings that brought
me to this place of knowing that what is before my eyes in manifestation
will serve me. And I must say, it hasn’t been easy getting to this place,
but the peace is so worth the journey.

  9. has anyone here actually been practicing ACIM and if so could you please
share what kind of changes it has caused in your life? I’m thinking about
starting the book and I know it’s pretty complex. I know that everyone
experiences things differently but is there a consensus that studying and
applying the lessons really does cause your life to change in terms of
feeling more love, forgiveness etc….? Thank you!!!

  10. Thank you, Dewdrop157, for publishing this marvelous video. For I am one…
    And, enjoying the love. ~Kirkn

  11. The Course says that different teaching aids appeal to different
Teachers/students. Some get a lot out of Abe, but I’ll take the “old”
Course any day over it, WOM, etc…Whatever helps you remember that the
Truth is True, and nothing else is True, is the ideal path you should take.

  12. ACIM says our separation is part of our illusion and thus has never
happened nor is happening. Our ego thinks and tries to control each of us
from habit/conditioning and lack, believing only in selfishness, survival
    and ultimate death. .
From Abraham: Separation has never happened, as well. We have only thought
it has because we are too involved, fearful, preoccupied and limited l(a
linear dimension) with what is (not feeling and remembering our
non-physical being-ness and one-ness with Source) plus not focusing mostly
from our heart’s desires. Both philosophies are about our out of the vortex
or Source-disconnect, our return to conscious Source in living in the
fullness throughout our physical incarnation and future incarnations. ACIM
seems to make the ego appear to be almost devilish where Abraham tends I
think to make the ego more as blessing in that it is part of the contrast,
even a gift, to awaken and make us know what we do and do not want. .

  13. ACIM is most certainly NOT outdated. It is a far more comprehensive
    system/teaching than Abraham-Hicks. Abraham-Hicks is a channeling of
spirits who still believe they are individual and separate. They are still
in the dream. In this video Esther is wrong about separation according to
the Course. To ACIM the separation NEVER HAPPENED. Her belief that it
happened and is happening shows the ego involvement with the dream. Also to
the Course, there is no evolution happening. Dreams do not evolve. But
people do awaken within the dream.

  14. Delightful! As a former student of A Course in Miracles, which shifted my
conscious awareness in wonderful ways… I feel happy so much of the time,
as I now focus purposefully on these gentle, fun loving vibrations I hear
and feel in Esther’s voice as she shares Abraham’s wise words, words that
remind me of knowledge I already know deep within:).

  15. The wise spirits that will usher this vibration upwards and outwards will
fight for victory against their own ego and will have refused to theorize
existence from a platform of separation. The Course is a Timeless helper
that lays out the blueprint of the ego’s psyche and its addiction
to delusion. Something changed at 7:42.

  16. Boom! I used to think I was getting some helpful info from Abraham Hicks.
Now I realize Abraham Hicks is just part of our ego’s trickery.

  17. What I got out of it: In this time of Transformation, or reawakening, some
people have moved forward since Course in Miracles was written. We are
consciously aware of these changes. We are comfortable with and relate to
talk of changing frequencies, vibrations, energy, ego. We know we have the
power to direct our lives. We are learning how to live according to that
and just how far that power goes. We feel Source / Creator / God in a more
independent and deeper way. We rely on our feelings, thoughts,
realizations to guide us. We don’t need to feel we lean on an external
    God. It is within us.

  18. When searching for who I am (AYAM) by looking to what I think is outside of
myself, all I see is illusion, or as they say in Hindu MAYA. Of course this
would be the case as all that is is perceived to be outside my being, I am
presence (AYAM), is really just an illusion (MAYA) reflected back to me of
my being, kind of like looking in a mirror. Nothing is outside or escapes
that being, not even nothing, because it is nothing. AYAM MAYA.

  19. “The Course of Miracles is old information.” ????? The eternal word of
God’s son? In 20 years or less, when asking a metaphysical person about
Abraham Hicks, they will respond: “Abraham who?” While the Course at that
time will probably be making huge inroads into circles of what is
considered traditional Christianity now. All that this “Abraham” nonsense
does is help to cultivate more attachment and ego. There is really nothing
of any deep substance about it. Pay her a lot of money to “blah blah blah”
on the hopes that you will get more money and things of the world while she
puts some thin sheen of “spirituality” on it. It’s like shining a turd!

  20. There are many paths and many teachings to bring us into alignment with who
we are. This has evolved because humans are all different and respond to
different philosophies. I have been inspired by the Abraham teachings for
decades. The wisdom is crystal clear and extremely practical to use. It
appeals to a wide variety of people and has certainly helped this planet
evolve! I began studying and doing ACIM about 10 years ago. The Course is
not for everyone. It takes commitment to do the lessons for a whole year.
When you do the lessons and read the text (which takes at least a year),
you are automatically pulled into the vortex. For me, it has been
transformational. The Course says we were all created perfect and always
remain perfect. We fell asleep and imagined a dream world of duality
(contrast): good-bad, love-hate, sickness-health. If we wake up and align
with Source Energy we will remember the truth of who we are beyond the
dream. When we do that this illusion becomes a “happy dream” where we can
    extend love, joy and peace.

  21. The Course is radical teaching…it’s just that no one can handle the
radical level of confrontation to their ego. We will do ANYTHING to not
look at it. But it is only in looking at it that we will ever be able to
let go of it, transcend it…

  22. It’s so true what Abe said…sometimes I “heard” new info on one of the
    recordings that I haven’t “heard” before…amazing…
